Another really hot session tonight but everyone put in masses of effort to pull some great times out of the bag. It was an endurance session that i'm sure people won't want to repeat for a while! With pain comes gain and a greater sense of satisfaction.

100% Success at Gradings!
Massive well done to Vicky, Annie, James, David, Nick and Tom for all achieving there coloured shirts in the second of the Kbc gradings.
The evening kicked off with two handed swings. The ladies were doing it with 8kg, James and David with 12kg and Nick and Tom with 16kg. Everyone flew through six minutes of continuous swings to pass the first stage.
Next was Snatches! Again the girls used 8kg and had to complete 75 repetitions in 5 minutes. Vicky and Annie smashed it with time to spare.
David and James then took the floor with the 12kg kettlebell. James had 75 reps to complete and David 70. Both men looked solid throughout and also finished with time to spare. Last up on the Snatches were Tom and Nick with the 16kg. They both had 85 reps to do and they also flew through it with time left.
Everyone was on target to finish with a coloured shirt but the hardest element was yet to come! Annie and David went first to go for their Long Cycle attempt. Annie managed to complete 60 reps without putting the kettlebells down and David finished just after also without putting down. Vicky, Nick and James were up next and also showed solid form to complete 60, 70 and 60 reps respectively. Tom finished the night off in style with 70 reps.
Well done to everyone who took part and the results show all the hard work and effort you have put in over the last year. May it long continue.

Gradings are coming!
Just to let everyone know officially that gradings will be taking place on Monday 19th and Monday 26th of September at Longparish hall. We have hopefully spoken to everyone who is ready to grade but if you are interested then call or text Will and we can try to fit you in. Spectators are welcome to come and see what its all about.
Take a look at the gradings page to work out what you need to achieve following the bodyweight guide. It is also worth noting that the swing element of the grading is now not done by time instead of by number of reps. For example to gain your coloured shirt you need to do continuous two handed swings for 6 minutes, two tabs is 5 mins and 1 tab 4 mins. This is a continuous swinging movement and any stopping or resting during that time counts as the end of the set and a fail.
Good luck and we look forward to giving out some new coloured shirts soon! Will & Annie
